Motherhood is an extraordinary time, full of emotions and changes. A maternity photo shoot is an intimate and precious experience designed to capture the beauty and joy of this extraordinary time in the life of a mother-to-be, so that she can feel beautiful and special. It is also a moment of sharing with the partner or the whole family, to tell with a tangible memory an important piece of one’s life and to be able to share it with the children when they grow up.
when to take the pictures
The best time to conduct a pregnancy photo shoot is between the seventh and eighth months of gestation. During this period, the mother-to-be has a nice round belly but at the same time she is not yet burdened by fatigue and is not weighed down in her movements. A good idea is to schedule the service well in advance so as to better organize the session.
Making a photo book during sweet expectation by entrusting it to a professional photographer experienced in maternity will allow you to keep track of this upsetting and magical period, characterized by great transformations, in which women are able to express their femininity and beauty in the most natural and complete sense. It will be my job to capture this with grace and kindness, a touch of artistic sense, putting you at ease and making the photo session a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The photo session usually lasts a couple of hours.
how to organise the service
I generally prefer to have a meeting with you before the photo session, preferably in person or at least by phone if you are far away, to get to know you and study the details together and create a photo shoot that you feel is yours. We will talk a little about you, the photos you like, any doubts you may have. We will decide whether to do the shots in the studio, at home or outdoors, and I will give you some pointers on the attire to keep. For the rest just bring yourself and the desire to have fun without thinking about the final result, I will take care of that. We will take as much time as necessary to settle in, relax and possibly take breaks.
